Forté Éclat 2021

After more than a year of performing via digital production, it is such a great feeling to be on stage once again to present live performances. 

Forte’s annual concert is titled ‘Eclat’, to symbolise the display of brilliance that performers strive to achieve and inspire their audience with. Virtuosity, sensitivity, and confidence are some of the elements of Éclat that musicians use to create the shine in the performances presented to their audience. 

We presented two concerts this year: Matinée and Evening concerts. The Matinée included a range of solo repertoire performed by this year’s high scorers as well as the prize winners of the Forte Competition that was organised in May earlier this year.

The evening concert featured a series of chamber and orchestral pieces performed by the members of the Concertante and Camerata ensembles, some of whom took on soloist roles in the concerto and string quartet works.
